To my knowledge brushes contain no lead. I believe they are mostly carbon. Maybe that is why they are called carbon brushes??
OK to get serious call a brush manufacturer or buy some brushes from Grainger and request a MSDS.

OK so you take a Kw Hr reading from the meter and put it into the PLC.
You then divide by time to get average Kw.
What do you do with this data after it is in the PLC
- in other words why???
What are you controlling with this Kw value??
OR are you using the PLC as a recording device??

I think I am going to have to get company to get copy of NFPA regarding E stops.
SO FAR every E stop I have seen is pull out to run push in to stop. Does NFPA address that I wonder??
For red I have seen red button for stop green for go so I would guess that is where that came from.

OR! Your line has too much capacitive leakage and that is tripping you GFI.
Are you referring to the 120 V 20 amp GFCI or are you referring to the industrial type GFIs say for 3 phase?
Tell me more about the capacitive leakage and how or if it can screw me up on 120 volt units...

1. He is using screw conveyer to move sand
2. Screw shaft is hollow
3. Screw shaft is inclined
4. Put engine exhaust in lower end of screw shaft and it exhausts at upper end. Allow for water to drain at lower end.
5. Heat is transferred from exhaust to shaft wall to the screw to the...

In any inflated structure the tension in the wall due to contained pressure is inversely to the radius of curvature of the wall.
So as the radius increases the tension in the wall structure decreases??
Does this apply to steel pipe, boilers and pressure vessels? So if...
Generically
IF as you stated "once charged"
then you will maintain constant voltage.
Of course since it is charged you would also maintain constant current at or near zero since it is charged but we wont get in to trivial details

Sounds similar to a situation we encountered in the Navy. When we shut down or tripped the turbine on a turbo generator AND forgot to turn off the regualator we blew the fuses feeding the regulator. Seems to me you should open the AC breaker feeding the unit and then turn off exictation.

Will this pump be in this frequent start stop mode?
What is current draw during start (I know hard to measure with DMM but,,,,) what is its current during steady state or better yet with pump pumping and with pump dumping to reservoir?
I think the trick here is not to worry about how it...
My estimate was based on a tire with no tread and a completely flat "road" surface such as a piece of plate steel. And this is static ie stationary. Once you switch to dynamic then my "theory"?? goes right out the window centifugal force would enter into the equation for instance.
OK so the...
Who supplied the engine and compressor.
Look up in OSHA or your state program for guard opening sizes vs distance from moving parts.
Service entry points are a good idea for grease fittings and other items that need to be accessed. If holes are large (BASICALLY if you can touch it guard it)...
