    WPS for tri-metal weld F91-800H-316 ?

Davefitz, We had two flow elements crack and leak a few years ago. We made temporary weld repairs then replaced them with an all P91 design. Besides, the 625 filler will embrittle at PWHT temps according to EPRI. Good luck.

    suitable etchants for 9Cr- steel

I suggest you try the Modified Currans etch. The recipe that we use is 10g FeCl, 30ml HCl, 150ml H20. Practice in the lab to establish the reaction time before you take it to the field. We like this etchant because it gets away from the picric although I think Vilella's is still the best...

    Hardness testing - Preferred Method

For a thick cast part, I would recommend the Equotip 3 with the G indenter (5mm tungsten carbide ball). Good luck.

Is the Equoptip hardeness tester recognized by the standards ?

Stanisladz, I recommend you read the instruction manual carefully. There are thickness limitations and the surface prep is very important.

    Heat Treatment A335 P91 Assistance

Rustbuster, yes it will. I recently went through this exercise. If it is a thick section, I would use forced air cooling.
