how dangerous are the fiber lasers?
fiber lasers are a class 1 laser and are supposed to be in a complete enclosure with a protective coating on the glass. beam reflection in a fiber laser is by far much worse than a co2 laser. beam diameter in a fiber laser is appx .06 mm compared to co2 which is .125 mm so it is much more...- sp2364

it all depends on how much time you can afford to put into a part. dont get me wrong the machines will cut the parts you just have to have time to make the changes needed in the tech tables and from a production stand point it takes to long job shop type applications it is definitely worth the time- sp2364

we do the same with the tech tables as well but you have to be careful when making certain changes. if you make kerf adjustments that are way out of the norm on some contours at certain points in a plate the processor cannot do the math and it will skip over this and go to the next pierce. every...- sp2364

The major difference is table size3030 is 5kw table is 60x120 3040 table is 80 by 160. The 3030 new series are a touch screen control that is much more user friendly. yes and it is possible but very poor edge quality and not worth the hassle. doesnt even cut well on a 6kw tanaka. i would use a plasma- sp2364

Trumpf Resonator Blower Rebuild
evrything can be rebuilt but is it worth it? you can buy an entire cooling star from Trumpf at around 30,000.00 with a failure of the blower the problem will be cleaning out the resonator after replacing the blower that could be a never ending job. how many hours were on the machine?- sp2364

i agree with what everyone is saying and the machines you are looking at are very good. if you are going to run as a production facility and will be looking for speed have you considered looking at a Trumpf machine? very fast and very reliable with great support team. also from the gauge range...- sp2364
