Hello Everyone,
I am part of a team looking into acquiring an OEE software for our facility. Does anyone have any advice on which OEE I should be looking at, and why? What are the requirements you wish you have with your current OEE? Thank you.
Thank you for the feedback @jraef. You are right in saying it is a Motor that is driving a brush under a conveyor belt. So does the UF fault renders the VFD defective? Which brands would be recommend?
Hello,
We are currently using a AC Tech SF450 VFD to drive a 5HP conveyor brush motor. We have been having recurring "UF" faults that basically renders the drives useless. A quick troubleshot suggests the fault is a result of a ground fault. Any thoughts on avoiding ground faults on a VFD...
Hello Everyone,
Over the past two weeks, we have been having a recurring issue with the Flame arrestor plugging. This particular flame arrestor is located on a pipe connected to the High pressure/Low pressure knockout pot. Has any body ran into this type of issue with the flame arrestor getting...

Hello fellow Engineers, Our 1000 ton carrier chiller has been experiencing recurring chronic VFD fault when the unit goes into or comes out of a minimum load period. Any ideas on what might be going on?The fault showing is Pre-charge Open – Check contacts, wiring, resistance, and parameters.
The vents are always open. The air that is being fed into the enclosure goes out through the vent. I do like the idea of an interlocking system that will alert us if the door is open. Thank you Ed
Hi EdStainless,
The box is rated for NEMA 4x. The enclosure has two vents on the front. The duct that supplies air is located on the bottom of the enclosure.
