    480VAC question

CHDean is right. I have engineered many control panels and 480VAC was always stepped down to 120VAC(Trans) to feed the 24vdc power supply for PLC controls. The 24vdc should be isolated with an isolation contactor arrangment as part of the control circut. all this is provided in the same...

    LP propane with electrical

I have a piece of equipment that has a LP gas manifold inside the electrical control panel (110 VAC) with the control relay. There is a seperator between the gas and the electrical sides inside the manufactured ss enclosure. Is this appropriate?

    Propane gas and electrical enclosures.

I have an application where it is suggested that the LP gas manifold can be placed inside the electrical enclosure with 110vac controls. Is this appropriate? It has also been suggested that a seperator panel (not air tight) between the gas and electrical component would be OK.

    Propane gas and electrical enclosures.

I have a project where the LP gas manifold is inside the electrical panel enclosure. Is this appropriate? It has been suggested that I could build a shield inside the enclosure to seperate the electrical and the Gas.
