Guys,
Have you ever heard anything about a coil design software which is called CoilCAD or CoilixCAD? I tried to google it, but the only one is Tesla Coil CAD v.1&2 which popups first and is not an option.
Thanks
S.
Hi, I am looking for a low permeable materials (MuR<20) & a supplier of thin rods made from such a material. The story is that it's supposed to work in a cryogenic environment, so ferrites seem not to be the best choice (not sure about, rather suspisious).
Please, advise if somebody knows where...
Hi. Porcelain is fine for insulation. For a capacitor bank, depending on power and RC of your circuit (resulting in Joules per discharge cycle) and on the environment (cryogenic or room T) one can expect 400-900K rise for 16kA/100mm^2 SN60PB40 solder (melt - 180 C).I am not sure about linearity...
Hi,
I need an advise from somebody with experience in Cryo FEA, preferably worked in ANSYS enviroment: how to model two phase (liquid-gas) process and bubble formaton near the conductive surfaces.
Is there in the web a reference to go through?
Thanks
Sorry for late answers, I was relocting, switching jobs and blah-blah-blah...
This issue is about temperature profile as a function of time. I can harder understand it in terms of ON and OFF. For instance, OFF means that a heater has no power input? In this case you would better take into an...
Hello,
I'm looking for a company which manufacures rubber/silicon tubes with varying inner diameter along a tube, while outter diameter remains the same. Does anybody can recommend one?
Thx, S.
PS. I tried Google before I posted it here (.
Thermal analysis are almost always non-linear. IMHO, double sizing just eliminates non-linear effects, especially if you are dealing with radiation problems.
Hi Tucson,
Probably, the best way to learn how to simulate transient thermal analysis is to read Transient Thermal Analysis chapter in Thermal Analysis Guide. Use *DIM command to specify TABLE and then fill it manually or through *TREAD command. All these steps can be done via Utility...
Hello,
I'm trying to apply BC for a model which is a metal sphere, surrounded by a medium (plastic-based) with certain permittivity. There is a system of electrodes, placed far from the sphere, generating specific electric field.
Obvious BC on the surface of the sphere is that the tangential...
Hello,
I'm trying to simulate a problem, employing both convection and radiation as BCs at the outside walls of a box. I've applied radiation as RDSF (radiosity solver) and covection as CONV at the outter boundaries at the fixed ambient temperature (room one, 24 C), according to the examples...
