How can I change ITEM Number in a balloon and reflect it in BOM? I used autoballoon or individual balloons, but onceSW assigns item # it would not let me change it after the first balloon inserted. I can change it to the custom #, but then I can not update BOM Item #.

I need just 4 x 4 x 1/4" angle and thought it should be in the SW. I tried to use toolbox> structural shape> created, but it creates only a sketch and does not add profile to selection

I am using SW2004 SP 2.1. I am designing a machine base using weldment menu (Insert > Wedment). I created a path and the tried to insert structural member.
Pull down menu under Selections:
Standard> ansi-inch
Type> angle iron
Size>..
Unfortunately size offers me only 3 sizes, what should I do...
I used a predefined SW configuration, then "Use Software OpenGL" option. I do not have as much problems as before, but I am doing more modeling and assembly then detailing for now.
To tell the truth I expected much better software package. I used UG before, and many things there are much easier...

Thank you for help. I received more help from you in a day then from our IT department in the last week.
Open GL option is not avaliable in the Performance window, it is greyed out.
I upgraded drivers to the latest revision few days ago, and will use rebuild option more often.

The selection process I am going thru is the same as choosing Ford or Chevy. It is just a matter of preference.

Unfortunately company did not buy service agreement, that's why I can not download service pack. My drawing is not an assembly, it is a quite simple part.
