    Steam Mass Flow Transducer

Have a look at this solution: http://www.sierrainstruments.com/products/240_241.html The insertion version (241-VT) should do the job if you have enough straight length on you piping. Paul

    Measurement flow

    Consider a Insertion Vortex with a Hot=tap system. See http://www.sierrainstruments.com/products/240_241.html (Model 241 with Hot-tap)

    Steam Flow Measurement

Use a Insertion Multi Marameter Mass Vortex meter with a Hot-tap system. There are systems available to install these uner "hot" conditions. (see www.sierrainstruments.com model 241)

    Calibration of Turbine Flow meter

To do it correct there is only one way of doing it: Take it out and sent it to a company who can verify calibration of these kind of meters: f.i. NMI, The Netherlands, CEESI (USA), Sierra Instruments (USA), NIST (USA), Intromet (Netherlands), PTB (Germany)

    oxygen flow measurement

Dear Jorge, Measuring the usage of gas like yours has some special requirements: 1) You need to measure Mass (not temp and pressure dependend like volume) 2) You need a big rangeability (Be able to measure big and small flows) 3) Long term stability (Prefereable no moving parts) 4) Ability to...

    Measuring molten sulphur flow

Multi variable Vortex meters calculate the Reynolds number and compensate for the "low flow non linearity" of a Vortex meter. I assume that the flow will be relatively low. To obtain a better accuracy in this lower range and to avoid reducing the pipe line to increase velocity you...

    Measuring molten sulphur flow

I heard that a Insertion Multi variable Mass Vortex is suitable for this application. At least chaeper than a Corioles for this size and with good tracing. Paul

    Natural Gas Pipe Sizing?

Hi Musafa, Flow=30 SCFM (S=Standard so refered to 70F and 760 mmHg(a)) Pressure=40 Psig Temp=20 C (Assumed) To calculate to Volumetric (SCMF is Normelized (Could be refered to as Mass flow although confusing)) Law of Boyle/Gay-Lussac: (P*V)/T=Constant (T in degrees K, P in Abs pressure)...

Where to find piping & flanges with EN 10204 - 3.1B certificate?

Hi, Does anybody know US suppliers of 316SS piping and flanges (ANSI and DIN flanges) with the European EN 10204 - 3.1B material certification?

    Natural Gas Pipe Sizing?

Hi, Piping in general is selected so that the actual volumetric velocity is approx 10 m/s. (Most gasses, there are exceptions like H2). If the velocity is bigger you get too much pressure drop, if the velocity is smaller you pay to much for your piping. For smaller length of pipe you can go...

    Mass/Flow Meter?

Maybe a Thermal Liquid flow meter? (standard smallest range 0-12.5 mg/hr normally) You can ask manufacurers how low they can go. The smallest corioles meters go down to 50 g/hr, but there are rumours smaller ranges are on the way.
