Mitsu50, when I understand right your question, this could be solved by checking an option in document properties. Options>document properties>tables select 'Restrict top level only BOMs to one configuration'. I use 2007/sp5 version.

For your question, Solidworks of appropriate version can reads UG parts even with parameters (but not so reliable). What I know, it is not possible vice versa.
