Hello mates, I have a question how to design chain generaly and fit to main assembly. I mean standart roller or energy chain. I have issues every time I try to make a chain assembly. Is also a chance to animate the chain movement? Thank you for reply, Pete Sevy, Konteza s.r.o. Czech rep

    Helix, mate

Hi all! I have a task to connect a roll with helix face. In result, Helix face should be 'hanged' on roll on one point and turn around his axis. Is this so possible to be simulated? Thank you for response,I beat brains about several days. Petrer S.

    BOM Problem

    Equations

Good afternoon, I think was enough spoken about this, but few modest questions I would have. Equation I was instructed to add interpart equations in assembly and link to each part. I do not understand how it works with configuration - which one solidworks chooses? In final result, if I change...

How to maintain line thickness NX2-->DXF/DWG?

(drawing in part - export cgm file - new prt file - import cgm file - save as dxf file). When exporting to a cgm, set drawing sheet, and than colors by widths. After this...

For your question, Solidworks of appropriate version can reads UG parts even with parameters (but not so reliable). What I know, it is not possible vice versa.

    Non-master drawings

Dear friends, I am appeal to you with one question, which relates to drawings. Normally I use non-master system of drawings to avoid messing of large assemblies. The problem is with substitution of small similar parts inside an assembly n-m drawing. Even an identical part (just saved under...
