    hello engineers, please help me to calculate stabilizing resistor for earth fault relay. as i know, Rstab = V/I i know how to find v, but i am confused about I value. whether i use CT secondary current (i.e) 5A or relay setting current. looking for your help..

    differential relay slope setting.

    hello engineers, from the differential relay manual, they recommended the setting for 1st bias slope setting is 1x tap change range. my transformer got 5 tap and range is 2.5% per tap. so total range is 5% from center.so can i set 0.05 setting for 1st bias slope.

    hello engineers.. Iam a electrical engineer but new to protection engineering. Can any one help how to calculate setting for transformer differential relay.Transformer is 22kv/11kv, 5mva. please reply and help me to understand clearly. thanks in advance.
