Embedment angles in structural beam
Sure, I'll be more specific. Yes, the 100" wide beams are spanning the 100' direction. (Note: The beam is not a simple span but continuous with columns spaced at about 20' on center.) Their are embedment angles on both sides of the 24" edge beams. The outer one is for a steel C-section...- serick

I am working on a reinforced concrete building that is appox. 100'x 200'. The main beams are 100"x16" deep and run the short direction at 24'-6" centers. In the long direction there are 24"x16" beams at the edges. The detailer has specified 4"x6" LLH embedment...- serick
