ive put two new sharp dead centres 1 in the tail stock an 1 in the headstock an adusted the tail stock for centre its about 0.3 mm higher than the head stock will that have any affect on it an how do i solve it do i shim the headstock up to the tailstock???
can anyone help me ive got a boxford model c lathe that im trying to set up, the problem is when cutting along the bed with the feed screw engaged it cuts a slight taper in the work about 1mm in 22 inches can anyone tell me how to get it right
