I'm designing a foundation slab with beams connecting the columns.
My question is, do I have to assign column design strips to get the rebar on the slab in addition to the rebar of the beam itself, or its enough to design the beam and omit the column design strip?

So my question is, how is the right way to do the scaling of the dynamic shear force? i cant do a reading of the "base reactions" table because not all the supports are at the "base" level...
