Trumpf is the biggest laser company out there but pricy. Rofin CO2 slab laser have an excellent mode which is good for cutting but don't know how essential it is for marking glass. Scott

A couple of other points. The beam could be wondering inside the tip do to misalignment or laser resonator problems. As Dan pointed out gas flow is also very important. Does it always happen on the same spot on the machine or is it random and can it happen anywhere? Scott
