    Thank you @FEA way. this has partially solved the issue. but it imports in tet elements and my geometry has to be in quad elements for element deletion simulation. please help me out with this one.

    I am working on complex geometry, and meshing that part is extremely difficult in aqabqus. so I generated the mesh in hypermesh and exported the .inp file into abaqus. but the part is now shell not solid. what could I be possibly doing wrong?
