    Hollow Spheres

    I am looking for a 1/8" hollow aluminum sphere that will float in oil. This means the wall can be no thicker than .006". Any ideas for sources? Thanks

    How about using steel and use a webbed gear blank. The steel is so much stronger than the aluminum that you can drastically reduce the volume of material.
