    Yes. All Topcon’s have set out programmes inbuilt. Called Layout. Use the “Backsite” (F2) command in “Layout” But first you have to set up a file in “memory manager” then input you points. You able to recall these points in “Layout”. Did you not get a hand book with your EDM?

    You can also assign arbitrary values to your set up station if you wish, say give it a value of E5000, N5000, RL 100 and pick a bearing on to some distant point like a edge of building or church spire. With that set out your other control stations and do your normal checks.
