I switched the tool axis and the error went away. I changed the drive method to area mill and that seems to have fixed the rest of the issues.

I have not used NX8 yet, but I hope its the same as NX3, NX4, and NX6 (using now). You should find it under "cutting parameters" and then "corners". You will need to change the options under the "Feed Slowdown in Corners" tab. The other tab "Feed Adjust on Arcs" seems misleading...

I have a new M6600 with intel i7, 4GB RAM, with Firepro graphics card. So far I have not noticed the fans running at all. I am in Windows 7 64 bit BTW. Have you played with your power settings? If I set my power profile to the ultra performance mode, I still cannot hear the fans...
Well, it looks like I have a lot of fun to look forward to when we finally move to NX7.0 sometime in 2015. I finally just got to start using NX6 this year.... at least I have a shinny box with NX8 written on it sitting in the corner collecting dust.

Thanks for all of the information. Currently, I do not see an option for parrellel generation in NX6.0.5.3, unless there is an env. var. to set that will activate it.
