    Air Cooled vs. Water Cooled condenser tonnage...are they equal???

    I don't think you will be happy with the performance of an air cooled condenser unless you have capacity to spare. Water temps will be a good bit higher. But frankly considering you mention chill water temps below 40 and a reciprocating chiller I really think you need to consider a new chiller...
