Yea, I would agree that the cast sheet method seems best.
The thickest I've heard of for a blown upward 'film' line is 20 mils.

The Borealis Group web site does show a FG5199 formulation that is specifically done for strech wrap/cling film. They call out anti-oxidant, anit-fog and cling additives included. That's great! I'll contact them and ask about sampling and min order and such.
