    roof truss cracked top chord (residential)

    Could the top chord have snapped when the stack was originally unloaded on delivery? This happens more often than not as the project manual usually comes with a standard repair detail which is usually a 2x scab....

    How some building officials allow some of these monkeys to proceed with "store bought" plans is beside me. My office always passes on these plans as whomever takes on the job turns in to the officially unofficial architect - Stay Away!!!!
