You might look at using sealed Joints on your sheet piling wall, this method will provide sealed connecting joints between adjacent sections of in-ground sheet piling that forms a continuous barrier, which will minimize the migration of ground water and other liquids through this...
Look at pumping into Geotubs or in the disposal area digging a slope dewatering pad and letting the water gravity feed down the slope to a sump and discharging the water back to the lake.

You may like to look at steel sheet piling driven around the work area as temporary containment structures depending on the depths and density of the bottom material you will be working in. Also the piling can be pulled and reused over again.
