    Smoothing bounded edges

    All sorted! Thanks again.

    Smoothing bounded edges

Thanks Beachcomber, I was looking for options in the stitch command instead of the bounded surface command. Seems to be an improvement but hasn't solved the problem entirely.

    Smoothing bounded edges

Hey guys, I'm a part time SE user and I've run into some problems creating smooth surfaces in ST4. I'm not sure if it's the correct way to go about modelling this object but it's almost like a half teardrop shape that I've created using curves and derived curves which I used to make a series of...

    Sketching in 3 axis?

Beachcomber, I can't thank you enough and I really do appreciate it! You're a legend mate, take care!

    Sketching in 3 axis?

Beachcomber, you've done more than enough already and I really do appreciate it. I just need a shove in the right direction. You're a legend mate!

    Sketching in 3 axis?

Lol! I hope your boss doesn't read these forums ;) At least you don't power nap at your desk. I know first hand how awkward it can be to try and explain that.

    Sketching in 3 axis?

Beachcomber, you are a legend sir! But lunch breaks are precious things so please don't spend too much time missing out on yours.

    Sketching in 3 axis?

I don't have any more pics but yes, it is very slightly concave.

    Sketching in 3 axis?

    Epic fail. It's 247x110x95. I Promise.

    Sketching in 3 axis?

Jeez, not even close. Sorry, I was reading it off an old 3Dmax model which wasn't to scale at all. 127x110x95mm high. The flat base piece is 15mm high.

    Sketching in 3 axis?

Any help or advice you could give me might save me from jumping off a cliff or gargling battery acid! The overall dimensions are 123.5mmx55mm and 95mm high. The flat part of the base is 20mm high.

    Sketching in 3 axis?

Thanks again beachcomber! Unfortunately I don't think it's going to help me. I'm pretty much all out of ideas to be honest. You seem to be quite familiar with SE, maybe you could tell me how you would go about making this. I originally tried modelling it in sync mode and ran into a dead end...

    Sketching in 3 axis?

Hi, I'm in the process of creating a bluesurf object, it's quite an organic shape and the sketches require a fair amount of fiddling. I was trying to modify the bluesurf by a inserting sketches which didn't help because I can't move the endpoints. Is it possible to modify my original sketches...

    Cross curves

Hi, I'm trying to use the cross curve command but the 2 existing curves I need to use to create a new one aren't sketches, one is a part copy and the other is a projection neither of which seem to work when using the "select from sketch" option. I have also tried using curves derived from the...
