Pump suitable for liquid containing 3mm size particles at 400 bar discharge presssure.

Moltenmetal, When I started this thread I was not fully aware of the specificity of this application. I agree now, that this is a specialized request. Thanks for the link.

Pump suitable for liquid containing 3mm size particles at 400 bar discharge presssure.

MartinLe, it's for a kind of pilot plant, that's why the flow is so small. Regarding the pressure, I don't know why is so high, since I am not fully aware of the process. What does AD stand for? Is it air operated diaphragm pump? If yes, I doubt that these pumps can go up to 400bar.

Pump suitable for liquid containing 3mm size particles at 400 bar discharge presssure.

Dear All, I am searching for a pump that will be able to operate under the following conditions: Fluid: Suspension of biomass particles in water (particle size 3 mm and the amount of biomass max 15% by weight of the suspension) Viscosity: 0.5 - 0.7 Pa.s Fluid Temperature: 100°C Discharge...

API 610 Old Edition Cooling water piping plans

Good morning, I have been given some old API pump datasheets (dated 1979), where cooling water piping plans were specified. Unfortunately, I cannot recognize these cooling water piping plans, since most probably at that time a different name convention was used. To be more specific, the...

Canned motor pumps - Stator Liner Leakage

Hi all, I have a query regarding canned motor sealless pumps. What will happen in case of stator liner breach? I have understood that stator housing plays the role of secondary containment in this type of pumps. Liquid entering the secondary containment will be in contact with the stator...

    ASME SECTION VIII DIV.1 SCOPE

A manufacturer has given me ASME Sect. VIII Div.1 calculations for some small atmospheric tanks (between 1 and 3 cubic meters). Is there any sense in accepting these calculations? I know that ASME Section VIII Div 1 applies to vessels having and internal pressure of 15psi and above.

    API PLAN 23 Heat Exchanger

We are purchasing a BFW pump, and the pump vendor has proposed TEMA C Cooler for API PLAN 23. Is this usual for pump sealing systems? What are the requirements of API 682 for seal coolers? Should they follow any specific code for construction as per a/f api std? Thank you in advance.
