I want to plot the R-X diagram for distance relay using MATLAB.
I have series of currents and voltages as follows:
1. Current, I
2. Voltage, V
In order to obtain impedance, I should calculate Z, i.e.(Z=V/I)
Question:
1. Should I calculate impedance,Z equal to |V|/|I| ?, or
2. Should I...
This means any combination resulting 200V (C200) will cause CT to saturate
i.e.
1.(20)(5A)(2 Ohm) =200 (saturate)
2.(20)(2A)(5 Ohm) =200 (saturate)
3.(20)(2A)(4 Ohm) =160 (not saturate)

Can somebody tell me how to convert saturation of voltage-current excitation curve in RMS to per unit values.
The only information I have are:
1. current transformer ratio, 1200:5
2. Class- C200, and
3. Data point (V-I) in rms

When the current transformer is label 1200/5:
1. Is that means primary current that not exceed 1200A, the transformer will operate in linear region?
2.If the primary current more than 1200A, then the transformer operate in saturation region?
