Do not know if you want to quantify the amount of sand through your system? if its the case, one method is to divert the well through the Test Sep and manage to get the amount of sand. Another method is to simply install a sampling point downstream of the tree or the well flowline.

Could any one advise a method to calculate the time depressurise a Gas line with following details:
1- Length = 65616.6 ft
2- inside Diameter (ID) = 10"
3- Pipe pressure =1200psa
4- Temp 60oF
we need to depressurise the line before starting some works on the system.

Great DrillerNic, we are going to clean it and then come back on production. The thing is the BHP of all wells are monitor by Gas lift and we do believe that a correct Gas lift optimisation must be performed to check the efficiency of wells management. thsi may reduced the incoming sand.
Internally I used to be congratulated frequently by my bosses, for my Job. they rely on every thing I undertake. But for me I can do more than what I'm cuurently doing. So I'm not really satisfied for my performance.
