Hello All
I'm looking to cut the length of a hollow plastic tube (25.4mm OD) with wall thickness 50microns.
Any precise cutting/trimming equipments in the market??
Currently I tried with a rotating mandrel where you place the tube and trimming the tube edge by a stationary blades (both sides)...
Thanks Demon3. I forgot to mention, that I'm looking for a seamless coating. Any kind of seam will be passed to the polymer tube which takes the shape of the SS mandrel
Any idea's on a metallic coating like TiN etc...???
Thanks
Thanks
1. The SS tube will go through temp cycle (for Eg: 60C, 100C 150C 250C and back to 100C) Totoal time will be approx 2hrs
2. The release coating's function is to release a polymer tube that is coated on the SS tube (The release coat to be in between SS and Polymer)
3. Good adhesion is...
I'm looking for different release coating on the SS tube/mandrel that is hollow and 1.5"dia
1. The release coat needs to withstand 250C
2. The opearation is done in class 1000 clean room.
Currently we are applying a ormocer(organically modified ceramics...)
The used mandrels cannot be recoated...
Thanks Guys...
1. Cubic BN in high viscous theroplastic polymer solution (Dissolved in solvent)
2. I'm little concerned with the hegman gage, the orientation of the particles will have an effect to give wrong results.
Any other methods...
Thanks
Hello
I have cBN in a high viscous polymer. I am looking for a method to measure the particle size of the BN. I have planned to mill the mixture in a roll mill for BN size reduction. I would like to know a best/quick method to determine the BN particle size. Any addtional inputs are welcome...
All
Thanks for your inputs. I will give some more specific details what I am looking for.
The current material Be-cu alloy (C17300 UNS):
We buy as rods and machine them to thickness approx (nominal) 0.5mm
Then we heat treat at 600F for 3 hours to achieve harness level of 38-45 Rc; T.S...
Hello all
I am currently using Be-cu alloy for a connector. I am planning to change this material to an alternative.
Be-Cu - C17300 UNS
This connector is used in coaxial cable where a male pin is inserted between the crimped fingers in a female pin. The crimped fingers should last the...
