I would like to be able to slice 3D objects into layers 1/8" (or 1/16") thick and then output all of the 2D XY plane outlines to an individual file. This would allow me to build up 3D objects from 2D 1/8" thick pieces of steel. Can anyone tell me the best way to accomplish this...
