I am confused about hardness requirement of Corrosion Resistant Alloys. NACE MR 01-75/ISO-15156-1/2/3 does not categorically suggests the hardness value of Incoloy-825 and Incoloy 625 material. Can experts in the field through light on the subject.

While going through API RP 14C, I have noticed that there a valve leakge upto 400cc/min is categorized as criteria for deciding whether a valve is required to go for maintanance. Thereby can we assume this much leakage in operation is acceptable.

I am little confused to understand that ZINK being anodic with respect to carbon steel how it will save carbon steel from corrosion in case of hot dip galvanizing. Rather, the zink layer will get corroded.
