I want to find an adhesive that is suitable to adhere quartz to a steel shaft does anyone have any ideas. Also the quartz is placed in a strain gauge arrangement to measure strain (on the steel shaft)what standards (ASTM no.) should I use to find the most acceptable adhesive strength.
