    Pressure sensor cost

linear accuracy maybe +- 2% or so. I don't want to specify anything custom to keep the cost low. I would sacrifice a PSI or two over cost.

    Double voltage from lithium battery

The forward voltage drop for a silicon diode is .7v, so using two in a series would be below your minimum. One diode would give you 2.3v...but are you sure you even need to have a two speed fan? Did you measure the RPM at your specfied voltages, to see if its worth if? Maybe the fan is...

    Pressure sensor cost

I am looking for a pressure transducer, with a threaded port, for water, 80 PSI in the under $40 in small quantities(1-25). Do they exist in my price range? Looked at Sensata already but at my quantities they are double ($75) of what I was looking for..

Detecting Reverse rotation of the Wheel

Consider the simple solution of using a G-force sensor, if you just need to know reverse direction for the moment.

Please Help - Wiring Diagram Component ID ?

Its difficult for me to see the internal connections of #24, but it appears to be a bridge rectifier. I am 99.9% sure of this. There are available from Radio shack too. They are used commonly to convert AC to DC current. But also in DC circuits for isolation, to prevent current backfeeding.
