Does WPB stand only for ASTM A234 ? I'm asking because ANSI B16.9 fitting are only marked WPB, they were ordered A234 gr WPB but how can I be sure it's A234 the only way it is OK is if they is no other materials with this grade ?

ChasBean1, keep in mind that this expansion joint has no purposes of expansion at all. It is employed only to compensate the flange misalignement, So there is no need for axial compression or extension in this case. Regards
