I have to do stress analysis of cross country (Fuel gas) piping. Though I had done the stress analysis for in plant piping,this is new for me. Are there any special considerations which I must take care? I am going to do the analysis in Caesar.

DOes ASME SecVIII has anything to say about the L/D Ratio to be used for a vertical vessel? I am designing a continuous blow down tank in a boiler system.I am just wondering if there is any guideline to find out the optimum L/D Ratio

The German equivalent for A105 material is 15Mo3. Actually 15Mo3 is even superior since it has some alloying elements, while A105 is a carbon steel forging.

The Deaerator is normally a pressurised vessel, while the condensate tank is an atmopheric tank only. The low pressure steam connection must be given to the deaerator, where the steam heats the water to expel the dissolved oxygen in the water.
