Transfer load from bottom flange to top flange
For a wide flange - you don't really. I'd typically use blocking, angle bracing, or bridging and bracing, and ultimately a diaphragm or perpendicular resisting element to anchor and resolve that load into. Depends on the context here, can you provide some more information?- NotWithinScope
