Hey guys gonna be doing a study into the effects of surface finish (abraided and non-abraided)on the frictional characteristics between aluminium 7075, and Polyurethane(1.4u) in dynamic conditions. Any info on experimental techniques would be greatly appreciated- nifez

CdotS: Yeah thats exactly it mate, just need to define the COF, and implied Friction forces involved, i know its quite vague, but im still reading up on the experiment myself. Was just looking to see if anyone recognised the experiment, or knew any good links, cheers- nifez

cheers mate have a look into it. Its dynamic friction, aluminium will be abraided in a circular pattern(this cannot be changed), just wanna know if theres anything i should know before we begin experimenting.
