Maybe I was not clear. the fueling system on the vehicle is releasing the gas from the tank to the engine at 50 PSI. I need to boost the pressure on board from the tank to the engine to a max of 150 psi. I have tried google to find the type of compressor/supercharger or other type of booster...
I have a Natural gas fueling system and I need to boost the pressure of the NG from 50 psi at the tank to 100 to 150 psi for delivery and consistent pressure at the engine. any suggestions?
CH5OH.. Are you suggesting that in terms of cost and reliability a recip compressor is a better option? i am needing my gas to be free of contaminants. so my thinking on hydraulic compression is no possibility of contaminants from lubrication.
Thanks for the tip. I have sent them a request for info. from your experience is the price point that I am trying to get to reasonable? with the specs i have is this going to be the best type of compression?
I am interested in the CNG compressor technology utilizing hydraulic compression. i currently build cng stations in the midwest utilizing atlas copco, arial compressors xebec gas dryers ect. I am a GC not an engineer! i have been reading about hydraulic compressors like these...
