A decent high performance roughing strategy - why should I have to pay a significant amount for a plug in like Volumill or the soon to be released iMachining for NX? Take a look outside the NX bubble and you'll see that this is included in nearly all your competitors.

I'm slowly working my way through constructing a post processor for my new turning centre using the techniques suggested on the siemens PLM forum. So far I've created an XZC mill as the master and linked a simple turn and an xhead mill as the slaves. The turn post has been pretty straightforward...
Using post builder I'm trying to develop the post processor(s) for our new Doosan Puma2600Y - single spindle, single turret, Y axis lathe. I understand the concept of linking post processors and this article

I paid extra for tSplines in Rhino but it was reasonably priced at $649, Power surfacing for solidworks is $1495, imagine and shape in Catia attracts a hefty price tag and freestyle is included with Creo - so I guess it depends on the price point siemens settle upon.
Wow, tSplines is the only reason I still use my seat of Rhino. New UI, improved image handling and now this - I for one am really looking forward to NX9.
So pleased to hear this, I've felt for a long time that NX had outgrown it's UI - only Alias being worse in my experience.
No chance of a screenshot then? :)
