Thanks for the input but is that exact depth 'h1' important in the actuator mounting flange? I'm stuck with the designing of the actuator mounting flange because I can't see the importance of that exact depth. Hope someone can clear this doubt. Thanks!

So basically both valves can be said the best if they serve the purpose of leakage proof line and being smooth or tight while operation varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. P.S. @Danlap valve is soft seated one and not metal seated. Sorry not to mention that before.
