Do not use your usual printing method. You will have to print using "MS Print Manager" instead. It's the same if you place a .jpg picture in the field of the drawing. You would then have to print using "print manager".
The "MS Print Manager" should be your default destination.

I have placed a picture (jpeg) file into drawings before. But your question could be answered "No" (if I'm correct about this). You can not actually place your solid model in your drawing, but the workaround would be to place a picture of your model in the drawing if you wanted to do that...

We have reported to PTC that in IntraLink, the check out to workspace box should by default be blank. This would force a user to have to select the workspace of interest (minimizing these kinds of mistakes). If this would help you also, then mention it to PTC.
