Hi,
I am designing a railway trailer to cary an escavator; the trailer will feature 8 wheels (diameter= 400 mm), each wheel carrying a load of:
7 ton (working rolling load);
14 ton (static load) when loading/unloading the escavator; Trailer maximum speed=20km/h.
Concerning the wheels (my big...
Since some time ago, i am can not acces my SW help files. The system is returning this warning message:
"Could not open help file. Please tcheck that your system has suficient memory"
I din't make any relevant change in my system (no programs installed or changed),and i have just reinstaled SW...
that could work but i have made more than one saves till now. Is there any way to return to a previous state of save, like a log file or semmeting? How can a do that?
it happens with only this assembly, but if with another assembly file i do an exploded view and then save it, i'm having the same problem.
I will try try the repair now
I still have the (-) symbol even after CTRL+Q. I also tried the rebuil and nothing. The mate button is there but still inactive. This is really annoying!! I love SW
First thanks to all.
CorBlimeyLimey: the mate button does not became active after collapsing.
I don't now if this happened because i have saved the file in the exploded mode. i've noticed that if i do an exploded view and than undo the operation, the mate button get's active again.
After doing an exploded view of an assembly component, my mate button gets suppressed. I had this problem once and I had resolved it, but now I don’t remember how I did it. Can anyone help me, it is really annoying.
Thanks in advance
I have tryed a search as you sugested "ctopher", and i have found a macro that reads from an txt file, and creates a cloud of points. Thanks for the sugestion.
I have no experience programming macros, so mi question is: is it possible to program a macro that could as well read the txt file and...
I am trying to use SW to design a ship hull. I have a list of points (forming spline curves) where the surface of the hull should lie on. I can insert them using the command "curve through xyz points, reading from a text file". The problem is that I am using the command for each curve. Is there...
Can an anodizing treatment of a an aluminum part (upright from a formula car) that has been manufactured using among others, TIG welding (base alloy 6082-T6; filler alloy 5356), increase the fatigue strength of the component?
What thickness should I use?
thanks in advance.
Sorry, for my mistake, I wanted to say:"...does it still (not steel) need wire brushing"
I am asking about wire brushing, because the component is to be anodized (after welding) and as I said previously, the material is recently bought meaning it may have a smooth oxide cover, which mean it...
What is the right solvent to use for cleaning Aluminum (6082 T6) before welding? The parts to weld have been machined (turning and milling), using cutting fluids. The material has been recently bought, does it steel need wire brushing, after cleaned with the solvent?
Thanks.
