import the CGM into a new part. If you can't import it into a drawing, you may have to just import it into a model and set a view for it.
download a PDF writer, and just print it to the PDF writer. We just had a big job where we had to convert a bunch of these. It can be tedious.
I believe we...
Hello, I've ran into a slight problem and I need to figure it out asap. Yesterday I got a new monitor (20" dell 16:9, from my 21" dell 4:3) and my old one was taken away.
well, everything seemed ok, but this morning I went to do a layout with curves in the drafting mode and couldn't see the...
Thanks for all the help, I'll let you know how it turns out. One question though, how can I turn a part back to modifyable if it says that it's been released already (besides doing a save as)? Seems to be an error that I'm getting alot although not sure if it even really matters for what I'm...
ok, I was able to sucessfully enter the rev manager, but when I try to replace the file it gives me this error "a parent of this document is being changed, this document cannot be changed"
It appaears that they have released the part?
any ideas to make them free to modify/work in?
I appologize for what may seem like such a basic question. I'm a UniGraphics guy and this is my first real attempt at using SolidEdge. I looked thru the help documents before posting here but didnt find quite what I was looking for.
I need to open a large top level assembly and export all the...

I'm not sure about that, but I had the same problem (even had problems printing PDF files out of UG... has very thick line fonts). Strangly one day out of the blue, it worked again.
Even more strange is that now I have that same problem with plotting, and am forced to print. Thats UG for ya
use the Countbore and depth symbols in the annotation editor :)
as an example (see the snapshot I took below). I may have something backwards as GD&T isnt exactly one of my strong points (more of a modeler than a drafter).

Hello, I'm new here. Been using UG (v16-nx3) for approx 6 years now.... figured I'd say hello.
Anyway, I'm currently doing a presentation on the fly for the company I'm contracted to. I'm showing a 3D cross section to show the moving parts of an assembly. They like having the shaded face edges...
