    USGBC LEED Credentialing

DRWeig, Thanks for the input. Now that you put it in that perspective, I think I will pursue AP status. I think the USGBC changed their credentialing a bit and removed the "Existing Buildings" sub-certification and lumped it under building operations and maintenance. I think the...

    USGBC LEED Credentialing

Any opinions out there on obtaining USGBC LEED credentials? I am an EE, I have my EIT, and my primary work is on institutional rennovations. It seems that architects benefit from credentialing the most.

    Recommend a EE Handbook

I am looking to spend my hard earned money on a useful electrical engineering handbook. I primarily design low to medium voltage electrical systems (drives, transformers, switchgear, etc.)

    Lightning Protection System

Excuse me while I eat some humble pie. I am a new EE and I allowed myself to soley rely on the NEC's methods of conductor sizing and focus on the required typical data for doing so. I found my answer in NFPA 780-the same source I culled. However, before I declare my question answered, I...

    Lightning Protection System

Thanks for the information. The existing system utilizes two, #4 condcutors and the whole appears to be meet code-for a thirty year old installation. We are in the preliminary stages and will have the system inspected/tested, but we wanted to see if it is adequate before we begin.
