    GE used to have a great design guide, but I can't find anything like that on its current website. This document (http://apps1.eere.energy.gov/buildings/publications/pdfs/alliances/outdoor_area_lighting.pdf) shows Type I, II, III, IV, and V light distribution patterns with a short description.

    Does anyone know where I can find a copy of Alcoa's "Graphic Methods for Sag-Tension Calculations" that was published in the 1960's? I have an original of the 1927 version, but am interested in creep which that version does not address. Thank you!

    Increased tension due to pole raising

    Thanks for the help! I have Sag10, is there a way to get an accurate answer using it? If not, I might try sending it to one of our other offices that has PLS-CADD.

    Increased tension due to pole raising

    We are looking at using phase-raiser on a transmission structure which would raise the conductor attachment points by 10'. The span is 600'. How would I determine the increase in tension in the conductor due to this change?
