As I was posting the ipt I realized you were dead on. I had made "Use style library = no" because it was fighting with the lighting settings I had in my templates. After changing that, all of the materials and colors are available. Now I just need fix the lighting in the style library. Thank you...

I'm not sure I understand. In the Projects manager, all of the styles and templates are default. If I import a SAT part, will it use the part.ipt template? Even if this is the case, the template has the full range of materials and colors.

Is it possible to change the material or at least the color of an imported SAT file? The only material option in the iProperties is "Default". Anyone have a workaround for this? I am running Inventor 2011 Routed Systems.
