From the SW World show, I learned that ATI is NOW certified for SolidWorks, and WILL be doing REALVIEW when SW 2004sp3 comes out (although they were showing the card using sp1). They have a new line of FireGL cards, that look pretty good.
I think you have to fork over money, unless someone knows of a Quadro4 hack, but you didn't specify if it was a nVidia chipset.

Case you wondered, I had to delete Bluebeam from the HD and the registry before I upgraded to get it to work after the upgrade process.

There is a company called AimaSoft that has a neat little program called "Entralink", whcih is basically an Enterprise Explorer. It allows you to easily link your ERP data (SAP in this case), with your CAD models.
The program shows the ERP data on the right side of the screen, and you...
I have MS Office 2003 Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, that are just fine when opened in MS Office 2000.
What up with that? Them bums get something right?

I'll raise my hand...halfway. I am "forced" to use Lotus Notes, and haven't had issues with it (other than it stinks). Been running it with SW 2001 thru SW 2004sp2.
Of course our Lotus Notes is like 3 years old, but 3 year old software ought to be worse at memory leakin'...
RipV,
First guess would be the video card. You say at home you have a 256mb, and at work a 64mb one. You don't say what video cards they are, but nVidias Quadros are the favorite of a lot of folks, and SW it seems.
Do you have the latest drivers that are approved for SW use? You can check on...
Can't miss me. I'll be the one dressed up like a Pickle...
I get there Sat afternoon as well. Leaving Wed AM. I will be working in the Partner Pavillian sometimes, and attending a few round tables and such. I may even be sneaking into a particular VAR session...

What SBaugh mentioned earlier is something I had heard. SW Routing was to incorporate cabling. I never heard officially, but it would be nice. Perhaps I can find out during the SW World from some unsuspecting soul...

Sounds like you need to verify the Options (button on the "saveas DWG" screen) are the same, and look at the Map File settings too. Map Files can be used to control the use or non-use of AutoCAD fonts and what-not.

I assume you are talking about the feature manager items are in Italian, instead of the "system" being in Italian.
I would think that you is in trouble. You could write a macro to change the names, but the macro would have to know the converted names.
Perhaps a macro that extracted...
If you have newer than R14 (One of the better versions), then you can do a File - Export in ACAD, and choose ACIS (*.sat), in lieu of IGES....
Old software? I think I still have r12 on floppies...

rocksolid2,
The last part of the email address listed would be okswug.com instead of okswugdelete.com
Not trying to make it hard, just trying to eliminate spammers from scanning for addresses.
Therefore: webmaster at okswug.com

rocksolid2,
Don't know if anybody took you up on your "send the file" request, but I will look at it. Keep in mind that this does not mean I know how to fix it, but you never know. Maybe my gray matter has some little bit of knowledge in it...?
If you want, send it to...
