    Just to say -- I found a work-around. Just offset to the inside of both curves, then use the intersection as the center of a circle with a dia of 2x offset, then trim.

    Well, I was afraid of that.... but it seems that the program should be able to determine tangents at any point of an elliptical curve easier than a mere human like me though, don't you think?

    I'm trying to use DraftSight to draw an art nouveau style window. To do so, I need to use the "fillet" command at the intersection of straight lines, arcs, and ellipses.
