your connections will depend on the type of windings in the motor....the above connections by kuldipkenya are for a motor with a tapped winding..which can be identified by a continuity test between your terminals...on this type of motor there will be a circuit between all 6 output leads...

I was only talking about the motors...I would put seperate fusing in for the heater, this can safely be fitted after your main fuses,without the need for more fuses for either motor.

You only need the one main set of fuses to cover the total load, and need a seperate overload trip for each motor to protect them seperately. The fuses being mainly to protect the supply line and the overload units to protect the motors.

Thanks for your replys...This bearing is on the drive end of FANUC servo motor....I will try to locate a Hayley branch to see if they are one and the same bearings.

I agree with the last message...This looks like cavitation...which can be caused by air leaking into the system and having no way of excaping once it finds its way to the pump...a lot of pumps have breather holes in the castings to help, but these get blocked over time...
Still no luck in trying to locate this bearing!!! What I really need is to find someone who holds one of these bearings in stock.

With Class B being the insulation class...the insulation class of the generator will drop to class B.
And otherwise all should be fine as long as the windings details and dimentions are the same.

We supply TEC motors...mainly the three phase though, because they are a CHINESE made motor, and we find that the chinese have not yet perfected the manufacture of capacitors, and have a rather heavy failure rate!
As for the RCD tripping.....have you carried out an earth test on...

Just to point out that this is a permanent cap type motor that is being talked about..so a centrifugal type switch would not be a factor on this type of motor.

Maybe the brush holder itself isnt carrying enough current, and all the current to the brush is therefore being carried by the tail...thus overheating the cable.
