    beam bending with large deflections

    i need to design a flat spring that can be approximated as a cantelivered beam. my problem is that i'm designing for 45 deggrees deflection whereas the simplified equations are only usable with small deflections. where would i look to find the appropriate formulas? thanks

    flat or cantelevered spring formulae

    i need to design a flat spring (basically half aleaf spring) but i need help finding the appropriate formulas. the only ones i've found are for bending of beams but are only suitable for small deflections....i'm looking at somthing in the neighbourhood of 45 degrees....obviously not suitable...
