PSV inlet test requirements
I guess I was just looking for something in the code that has a more clear direction. During turnarounds there are many PSV's that are replaced with either new or overhauled, how are we expected to test the inlet connection? PSV inlet test requirements
Anyone have any thoughts on the inlet testing requirements (or lack of) on the installation of a threaded PSV? Obviously cannot have a code pressure test to prove the connection however are there any service test requirements that I don't know of or just thread it in and walk away? thanks- miramachine
