Generator reverse power question
It should have some amortisseur or damper winding, and the rotor current will be induced. Even without excitation, the generator will run as induction motor. Since the Rotor is not laminated, it will cause serious heating on the surface of rotor . It would damage the rotor in short time- milestone625
